Prelude

Ben Johnson:

I was recently laid off from my engineering position at Caterpillar Global Paving in Minneapolis, MN. Being that jobs are not a plenty I became restless and decided to go out on a job search/great adventure accross the country. Five days later (Feb 12th) my car was packed and I headed towards Louisville, KY to pick up Ben Lutz.


The first leg of my trip was to make it from Minneapolis to Chicago to see my good friends Val and Jim who live near Wrigleyville on the north side. They looked great and their little apartment was amazing.

The next leg was to stop off and see Maggie Eilers in Terre Haute, IN. Everything seems to be going very well for her and we had a nice evening hanging out.





Finally, I pulled into Louisville, KY around 1pm on saturday afternoon. We hung out the next two days including picking the COC fantasy draft order Sunday afternoon. Everything went great and was a phenominal start to the trip!






HERE WE GO!!! We left at 9pm on Sunday evening! We are going to let the road (and the GPS) guide us wherever we may go!
